About this role

Read the overview on our job board page before you apply: https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/theacademysf

The Horowitz Andreessen Academy is going to be big on the internet from day one, but not every amazing student is going to see our announcement. The rest will need personalized outreach, headhunting, and coaxing. Their parents will also need to be brought on board.

That's where you come in.

In this role, you will:

  • Scour the internet and travel all over the country to find the best students for HAA

  • Build a pipeline and manage a CRM of thousands of students, parents, and schools

  • Manage the admissions process (or work closely with that team) - with a keen eye for talent and strong taste

  • Create any materials or assets you need to effectively communicate the value of HAA to both students and parents - and bring them on board

We’re looking for someone who is a firm believer in the Academy and extremely persuasive - not just to students, but also to parents. Ideally you already have a great network of students to tap - and you deeply understand the target student profile, because you used to be that student or have worked with them in a professional capacity.

This is the perfect role for someone who previously founded or worked at a company targeting precocious high school (or college, though HS preferred) students. And yes, you must be willing to travel, infiltrate the networks, and live in your texts.
