Designer / Senior Designer

Epoch AI is looking for designers to help us turn complex research on AI into dashboards and data visualizations. We are open to two different areas of specialization: product and web design, or data visualization.

We are looking for a Designer to help us communicate our research. You will work with our design team and report to our Head of Design, designing the interfaces, dashboards, and visualizations behind projects like our AI Models database and Trends dashboard. This work directly shapes how our research is understood.

We are hiring for two specializations and will consider candidates for either:

• Product and web design.  Focus on our website and interactive data products: information architecture, user flows, responsive interfaces, and the design system that holds them together.

• Data visualization. Focus on how we present evidence: charts, interactive graphs, and visual explanations for reports, dashboards, and social media that make quant itative findings clear to non-expert audiences.

This role is fully remote, and we are able to offer contracts in many countries, but we have a strong preference for candidates in North and South American timezones. We invite anyone who is interested to apply, regardless of background, experience, or credentials. Please do not include a cover letter, photograph, or headshot of yourself, or any personal information that is not relevant to the role for which you're applying (including marital status, age, identity traits, etc.).

Applications are rolling.
